Frequently Asked Questions

Can international visitors join the Roundup in Pattaya?

Of course. We’re excited to welcome guests from all over the world. Pattaya is an easy getaway spot and a great place to mix fellowship with a little fun.

Do I need a visa to come to Thailand?

Many nationalities can enter Thailand without a visa for short stays (usually up to 60 days). If you’re unsure, just check with the Thai embassy or consulate in your country before booking your trip.

How do I get to Pattaya from Bangkok?

Super easy. Pattaya is about a 90-minute ride from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. You can take a taxi, bus, or use apps like Bolt or Grab.

Where should I stay?

The Royal Cliff Grand Hotel in Pratumnak offers special discounts for Roundup guests. You’ll find details on the Lodgings section of this page. If this does not suit you, there is a large selection of hotels in Pattaya, Jomtien and Pratumnak.

What’s included when I register?

Your registration gives you access to all sessions, workshops, and keynote talks, plus coffee breaks and some great networking opportunities. Optional extras like golfing or the buffet dinner have extra cost, see XXX section on this page for further information on this.

Will everything be in English?

Yes, English will be the main language of the Roundup.

Can I bring friends or family along?

Definitely. While only registered participants can join the sessions, Pattaya has plenty to keep your travel companions busy—beaches, food, shopping, and more.

What’s the weather like in Thailand in February?

February is part of Thailand’s cool and dry season, making it one of the best times to visit. Expect warm temperatures, low humidity, and minimal rainfall.

What should I pack to wear?

Think light and comfortable. Since Pattaya is warm year-round, light clothes are perfect. Don’t forget your swimwear if you’d like to enjoy the beach.

What is the local currency in Thailand and should I bring cash or credit card?

The official currency of Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). A mix of cash and card is ideal. Use cards for hotels and large purchases, and carry cash for transport, food stalls, and smaller vendors. You can exchange cash, e.g. US dollars or Euros locally, at favourable rates. ATMs are also widely available. Note that foreign cards may be charged a withdrawal fee (typically around 220 THB per transaction).

What are the local transport options in Pattaya?

Pattaya offers a variety of local transport options, including Baht Buses (Songthaews), motorbike taxis, ride-hailing apps (such as Bolt or Grab), and local taxis. Baht Buses are the most popular and cost-effective way to get around, especially along major routes like Beach Road and Second Road.
